The site is now opened by name, and the request fails again. There are several causes, on different machines.
Follow the stages of the request from the client to the server and check again after each fix. You are done when the request by name from lab-node1 returns the page and lab-web is running.
Open the site by name
From lab-node1 the site is opened by name: curl http://portal.lab.test:8080/. The request fails. Find every cause on both machines and remove them. The name for lab-node1 is set in /etc/netns/lab-node1/hosts, which is its /etc/hosts. The lab-web service must keep working.
