proxy.conf is mounted into proxy through volumes. Why does the site still answer 502 after the edit?

$ sudo docker compose up -d

$ curl -s http://localhost:8081/ | grep title
<head><title>502 Bad Gateway</title></head>

• A The stack must be re-created with sudo docker compose down.
• B sed cannot change a mounted file.
• C api is not listening on port 8000.
• D up -d compares only the service description in compose.yaml; nginx will read the new proxy.conf after sudo docker compose restart proxy.
