Final test: Containers: Docker and compose

Question 7 of 18

Read the output

Why did the build fail?

$ cd ~/app && sudo docker build -t app:2 .
#5 [1/2] FROM docker.io/library/busybox:latest@sha256:27be924c62a0…
#5 CACHED
#6 [2/2] COPY ../shared/config.txt /etc/app/
#6 ERROR: failed to calculate checksum of ref rypjikd65lpq…: "/shared/config.txt": not found

busybox has no program for copying files.
The file is outside the ~/app build context, so COPY cannot see it.
There is no read permission on config.txt.
The image has no /etc/app directory.
