Read the output

The ~/notes-host directory is yours, and it is attached to the notes container in place of /data. Why can't you append to notes.txt?

$ ls -l ~/notes-host

$ echo second >> ~/notes-host/notes.txt
-bash: /home/student/notes-host/notes.txt: Permission denied

• A student is not in the docker group.
• B The container's process created the file as root, and on the host it belongs to root.
• C The container keeps the file open.
• D The directory is attached read-only (:ro).
