Step 6 of 8 · on a machine · 3 min

A second failure

Here you work out a failure yourself, with no commands given: its cause is different.

A colleague edited lab-worker, and the service fails to start again. The service's program is /usr/bin/sleep 86400, and it has to run as the user student.

Exercise · do it

Repair lab-worker

lab-worker fails to start again. Find the cause and repair the service: it must run as student and start /usr/bin/sleep 86400. Do not enable autostart.
