Save the repair journal

Reviewing a failure starts with the records that matter. Extra records in a report get in the way just as much as missing ones: whoever reads the file will take an old run for today's.

The repair journal into a file

A colleague asks for the journal of today's repair of lab-demo.service: the records after the timestamp in /srv/log-lab/since, without older ones. Save them to ~/repair.log; the file must belong to you. Do not clear the journal.
