Command for managing systemd units and inspecting their state.

systemctl is the main interface to systemd.

systemctl status nginx — service state and the latest journal lines
systemctl start|stop|restart nginx — control in the current session
systemctl enable|disable nginx — start at boot
systemctl is-active --quiet nginx — silent check (in scripts/verify)
